Natural cleft flagstone is comprised of compressed layers of sedimentary rock, which form over thousands of years. Once the flagstone is cut for the residential and commercial use, no stone is the same, varying in shape, size and thickness.

At Masonry Products, we stock Full color Natural Cleft Flagstone in random sizes. Our stone comes in a 1″ thickness, which will vary plus / minus 5/16″ because of the nature of the flagstone. When you order Natural Cleft Flagstone from us, each pallet will have completely random sizes and approximately 230 – 280 square feet of stone, marked with a tag indicating the square footage on each pallet. This will help you with the planning of space for your project, whether it is a sidewalk, patio, driveway, or something else.

Because of its natural design and beautifully random colors, natural cleft flagstone exudes an old-world charm. It also features the strength and durability that is common to quartzite sandstone. in addition to this, natural cleft flagstone is useful because it has a textures which makes it practically non-slip, but large furniture pieces can still be moved fairly easily across it.
