Children’s Hospital New Orleans Presents Both the Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do and Zoo-To-Do for Kids
The Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans includes the Audubon Park, Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, Woldenberg Riverfront Park and Audubon Wilderness Park. The group of facilities has a goal to impact nature and wildlife for the better and inspire visitors, members and our community to support nature and wildlife — and leave the world better than we found it. The Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do and Zoo-To-Do for Kids events are at the Audubon Zoo and aim to keep this goal on track.
This year will be the 44th annual Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do and the 33rd annual Zoo-To-Do for Kids. The Children’s Hospital New Orleans presents both of the events which help celebrate Audubon’s conservation efforts for pollinators, the group of insects, mammals, and birds on which the future of life on Earth depends.
“Hancock Whitney Zoo-to-Do is a celebration of conservation and we are thrilled to continue to partner with Audubon to host this premiere spring event in New Orleans,” said Hancock Whitney Senior Regional President Gary Lorio.
On the Capital One Bank Stage, The Phunky Monkeys will perform with Where Y’acht opening. There will also be performances by Alexey Marti Quartet at Cooper Plaza and Tin Men at the gala entrance. A silent auction will also go on which will include a 2022 Lexus Nx 250, and other great gifts and experiences.
The Zoo-To-Do for Kids will also have live music by Super Star Events and Promotions. There will be tasty drinks and food, arcade games, giant inflatables, and arts and crafts.
“While our Zoo-To-Do fundraisers offer a wonderful opportunity to have a good time, it’s important to remember that they have a purpose,” said Audubon Nature Institute President and CEO Ron Forman. “As part of our mission to inspire individuals to make a positive impact on nature and wildlife, Audubon educates millions of people annually about pollinators’ importance to our global ecosystem. Your support of our Zoo-To-Do events will help safeguard the future of these vital species.”
